Mission Statement:

To promote volunteerism among adults 55 and over, while encouraging their interests, using their abilities, and mobilizing them to meet the most pressing needs of Brooke, Hancock, Ohio and Marshall Counties.

We are a non-profit organization.

WHAT WE DO

RSVP is a national program providing volunteer opportunities. Our primary focus area is Healthy Futures: Aging in Place through which we provide companionship, telephone reassurance, transportation, fraud and scam prevention information and opioid/drug intervention. Additional focus areas include: Economic opportunity through tax assistance and other community priorities.

WHY WE DO IT

The purpose is to enrich the lives of older adults through significant community service, which is tailored to the needs of each individual community.

Our federal grant requires that we match 30% of our total budget with non-federal funds. Without this critical funding, we would not be fully funded or able to provide for volunteers in our program.
