Thank You

Special thank you to Fonda Cutrone, host, Ronald Penrod, driver, and Brooke County Committee on Aging for a wonderful trip, participants reported they had a wonderful time and look forward to the next planned trip to be scheduled around December.  Pictures were shared by Coordinator Linda Vidoni and Ron Penrod, thank you. Trip raised $456.

Mark Your Calendars

RSVP Christmas Party scheduled Wednesday, December 15, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Weirton Senior Center. Look for your invitation in the mail!

The quilt will be raffled at $1 per ticket 6 tickets for $5.  Drawing will be December 15, 2010.  Stop in and see the beautiful quilt and get your tickets.

RSVP “ASAP” 1st Annual Kids Fashion Show: 

Thank you to RSVP volunteers, Diana Mendel, Gerry Cross, Emma Kay Weimer, Debbie Gaston, Maggie Stewart, Josephine Patrone, Shirley Rogers, Ashley Gregorash, VISTA, who assisted with the style show raising $301.  Thanks: Macy’s, Walmart, JC Penny, Fashion Bug, New2U, Stuff with Attitude, Club Shutter and ASAP students. RSVP “ASAP” Make a Difference Project Thank Yous “ASAP” students and instructor “Ms Gerry” who crafted cards sent to LTC Shaw in Afghanistan.  LTC Shaw sent message to ASAP Students through RSVP Director on “facebook”:  "Angie the Halloween cards were a hit. They are pinned up all around the office. I was surprised how quickly they went."

Thank you Diana Kessler for your art instruction to ASAP students, good job!  Looking forward to another art exhibit in the Spring.
