Help needed - Call RSVP to help

Valley Hospice Inc. will need volunteers for the Light Up a Life memorial tree November 25th, 2006. Twelve noon to 6 o'clock p.m.

2 Pairs of volunteers are need to help with (4) children.  Mother is needing a couple of hours to go to the store.  Father is in Iraq.

Gentleman needed to police the New Weirton
Senior Center Parking lot.  Friday's 5-6:30 p.m.
Be sure to stop in and visit the Center.

Volunteer needed to assist with Reading and Transportation to store in Weirton Area.

  • Faith in Action Caregivers Inc. (Wheeling Area)
    Supply transportation, visiting, errand, telephone reassurance, chores, light yard work.
    Newsletter folding and other office duties

  • CASA - (Wellsburg Area) -Clerical Answer Phones

  • Gingerbread House - (Weirton Area) -Cashier

  • Mary H. Weir Library - Volunteer to read to children.

  • Brooke County Visitors Center - Clerk

Up and Coming Events

  • AARP Safe Driving Courses - Class scheduled November 8th and 9th cost is $10.  (The class will be an even class 6:00 - 10:00 p.m.
  • Listen for RSVP on WEIR 1430 on November 10, 2006.  Thanks to our  sponsor  Weirton United Way.
