NATIONAL VOLUNTEER WEEK "SHINNING STAR CHOSEN"

"Mary Schwertfeger is a great asset to the Gingerbread Corner for her volunteer hours every Thursday morning.   She is very friendly with customers and is always willing to help." Mary has been a member of RSVP since December 13, 1999 and has volunteered 670 hours. Mary, thank you for your hard work and dedication. We at RSVP appreciate you.

    Companionship/Outreach

  • Weirton United Way Fashion Show - May 7, 2006  at 2:00 at Williams Country Club - $30.00 per person includes dinner.  Call RSVP if you would like to purchase a ticket.
  • Wal-Mart Bake Sale - May 12, 2006 at the Weirton Wal-Mart
  • The Brooke County Fair Board would like Volunteers for Sept 8, 9 and 10 of 2006.  If interested please call RSVP.
  • AARP Driving Courses - Class is May 9-10, 2006.  Call RSVP to register. $10.00/person
  • Special Olympics Golf Scramble - $300 Foursome/$75 Each May 21, 2006. Call RSVP to get information.
