2012 RSVP Volunteer Recognition:  RSVP volunteers Idola Byrom, Diana Crago, Eileen Gogol and Jackie Vacheresse were recognized for Lifetime Presidential Service Awards (4,000+ hours).  Volunteers were recognized for hours served and years of serviceBenwood/McMechen Housing Authority and Youth Club of Marshall County Stations were honored for their outstanding support of the RSVP program.  The Donna Weaver Shining Star Award was presented to Mrs. Josephine Patrone for her outstanding service.  This volunteer recognition was made successful by donations from area businesses.

State Wide Project to Honor Senior Corps Week:  20 WVSCDA Directors and Coordinators met to address over 2,000 postcards sent to volunteers across West Virginia in honor of Senor Corps Week.
